Creative Strategy
GQ and Architectural Digest got us on board to capture the unique and eccentric collaboration between Shivan & Narresh and Glenmorangie. The design duo, along with the iconic whiskey brand, curated a homeware collection in an attempt to brighten up living spaces.
Shivan and Narresh, in collaboration with Glenmorangie, aimed to redefine luxury living with a unique homeware collection inspired by the fluidity of Highland single malt Scotch whisky. They envisioned vibrant colours and eccentric designs that embodied the brand essence for both.
The creative brief from GQ and Architectural Digest commissioned us for content curation for the launch event of this collaboration. We had to produce content that was captivating and further showcased the unique collaboration between the two brands, highlighting the luxury and artistry of the collection.
One of our main challenges was to curate the content in a way that captured the quirkiness and elegance of this collection while staying true to its brand essence as well as resonating with luxury connoisseurs. Moreover, since the content was being created for GQ and Architectural Digest, it was crucial to film content that was in line with the brand essence for both magazines as well.
We approached the creative brief through intensive concept development and moodboarding that helped us gauge an idea of how to go about the video curation. By infusing creative direction that artistically captured the collection, we added personal elements including an engaging conversation with the designers to experience the collection first-hand and bring forth their vision. This felt necessary to make the content symbolic of the craft and collaboration.
To bring this video to life, we experimented with various editing styles in post-production. Playing with unique typography and utilising colour theory to accurately bring out the tones, we created content that celebrated the collaboration’s eccentricity and captured the brand essence of the designer label, Shivan & Narresh.
Our efforts culminated in a cohesive, fun narrative that embodied the spirit of the collaboration. The result was a set of vibrant, dynamic visuals that made luxury living feel like a vacation and perfectly aligned with the client’s vision.
