Summer Somewhere aimed to elevate their brand essence with their ‘Vacances’ collection, blending tropical allure with French old-town charm. A vision that sought to captivate people with imagery evoking wanderlust and leisure, this shoot transported us to the coastal haven of Pondicherry.

To craft a visual story that elevates brand storytelling and seamlessly merges beach escapades with European charm. We were tasked with capturing the ethos of Summer Somewhere’s newest collection ‘Vacances’ which had to be reminiscent of the brand’s essence and resonated with people’s desire for wanderlust. 

On top of an unexplored destination, our biggest challenge seemed to be navigating an unpredictable cyclone. Since the creative production for ‘Vacances’ demanded shoots all over the city, we started at dawn. Through extensive exploration, we identified picturesque locations including a stunning French villa, much of which aligned with the creative briefs and our moodboard. This not only captured the aesthetic of the collection but also resulted in a cohesive narrative for brand storytelling.

Devising a creative strategy that embodied Summer Somewhere’s vision and brand essence, we made our trip to Pondicherry. Despite weather uncertainties, our production team orchestrated a seamless shoot. Guided by our creative direction, we capture everything from sunrise to spontaneous location discoveries, adding depth to the narrative.

Through meticulous content curation and experimental post-production enhancements, we transformed all the raw footage into cinematic visuals. From beautiful handwritten typography to colour grading with colour theory in mind, all the content produced was transformed, aligning with the brand’s aesthetic.
