We got an opportunity to work with Vogue in collaboration with Burberry to capture the store of the heritage luxury house at Jio World Plaza in Mumbai. Vogue x Burberry envisioned a visual content piece that would embody the aura and allure of the space.
Burberry, in collaboration with Vogue, envisioned a collaboration that captured the essence of both brands as an epitome of luxury and elegance. The goal of content curation was to capture captivating videos that seamlessly fused the brand essence of these iconic brands
The brief called for a video tour of the new store, highlighting new launches that engulfed the space and showcased Burberry’s universe and brand essence. With elements that captured the store’s ambience, aspects like stunning transitions, and hand-modelling the products were the centre of the concept. Our main goal was to capture all videos while maintaining the refined elegance of Burberry and Vogue’s brand positioning.
Filming in a store with floor-to-ceiling mirrors posed significant challenges in avoiding crew and equipment reflections, and navigating clear spaces to ensure the authenticity of the content. Additionally, filming during store hours meant navigating around customers and maintaining the store’s pristine look.
From concept development to mood boarding and storyboarding all transitions, we meticulously planned each and every detail of the video. Using creative angles to combat any reflections and capture the store’s atmosphere, this strategy ensured that every detail was showcased. In post-production, we employed intensive colour grading using colour theory to evoke luxury and experimental editing styles along with instrumental background scores to produce a seamless, stylish and dynamic video.
This project not only elevated our expertise in luxury content curation but also reinforced our ability to adapt and innovate in newer environments and understand how to capture the brand essence of luxury brands.
